Michal Sapir

Instructor

Michal was introduced to yoga in 2012 through YouTube classes. It wasn’t until 2016 that she started to take classes in person at a studio, and she fell head over heels in love with the practice all over and the community yoga created. Through her yoga practice, she has been able to take a step back from her sometimes overwhelming thoughts, and get in touch with the present by focusing on moving her breath with her body. In 2017, she did her first 200 hour Teacher Training, and has since completed over 600 hours in additional trainings in Hot Yoga, Anatomy & Movement, Acro Yoga, and Katonah Yoga. Yogic inversions ignited a passion for handstands. Hand balancing is an inexplicable obsession. It is a unique skill that requires time and dedication to the development of strength and precision. A seemingly impractical ability with a profound lesson; teaching us how to be in the world by learning how to be on our hands.
