Jamie Kahn
Instructor
Jamie’s relationship with movement is a decades-long love affair. After fifteen years of ballet and modern dance training, raised by a powerful personal trainer mom, she always knew that movement and the mind-body connection was more than just a fun pastime. Yoga came into her life at 16, and eventually helped her heal a ballet-related back injury at the age of 18. Witnessing yoga’s incredible restorative and healing properties in her own body pushed her to get her 200hr YTT at The Yoga Loft in 2019, and she has been teaching ever since. In 2024, after experiencing a traumatic neck injury, she found the healing powers of another modality—mat Pilates, which became a massive support to her recovery. She is now completing her mat Pilates teacher training with Vessel Studios, where she found so much healing and support throughout her recovery process, as both a teacher and a forever student.
Committed to healing, mindfulness, and the somatic-psychological connection, Jamie is also an MSW candidate at Fordham University, where she is in the process of becoming a therapist.
