Pilates 101
Are you new to Pilates or curious about the hype?
Vessel is offering a Pilates 101 workshop to teach you the foundations in a slow, guided workshop. In our workshop, you will be able to ask questions and receive hands-on adjustments. You will deepen your understanding of the practice and find even more muscular control in some of the basic Pilates shapes. Newcomers are welcomed and encouraged!
What To Expect
Join us for a 90-minute Pilates 101 workshop that will provide you with a thorough understanding of Pilates fundamentals, including finding and connecting to all “layers” of the core, understanding the principles of pelvic stability, feeling the effects of correct posture and proper spinal mobility, and deepening the interconnectedness between the breath, blood and musculoskeletal system.

Pilates is an incredible practice that helps to develop complete coordination of one’s body, mind and spirit. Physically, it can help to correct improper posture, remedy low back pain, stabilize injured muscles and increase spinal flexibility. Mentally, it can help to strengthen resilience, grit and determination. Spiritually, it can increase self-confidence and sense of self as well as provide a peace that results from the body and mind working together in perfect harmony.
